We are Advocates!

How do we advocate?
Through our active support of preventing domestic abuse and building bonds between parents and children through reading and play, JLSP is improving our community.

Participate in our community through our volunteer service projects which encompass specific priority issues based on the needs in the community.

Educate the public through Public Service announcements, including billboards, bus stop signs and the media.

Discuss and meet with elected officials and community leaders to educate them on the issues surrounding our community service projects. The Junior League of Saint Paul does not participate in political campaigns, political action committees or donate money to candidates.

Our Mission and Advocacy

Promoting Voluntarism: Advocacy is a great way to volunteer.

Developing the potential of women: Learning to advocate is a training opportunity - and a way to get involved in your community.

Improving communities: JLSP can improve our community through education and awareness of specific issues.
