Our Members:
The Junior League of Saint Paul (JLSP) is a committed organization of approximately 400 trained volunteers dedicated to “Building A Better Community.”

Throughout their membership, JLSP volunteers participate in comprehensive, hands-on training and education focused on promoting leadership skills and addressing community issues. The result is innovative and collaborative programs that significantly impact the community, such as our new initiative Building Bonds through Reading and Play!

Beyond their active League years, sustaining members continue to serve the League and the community through their leadership and participation in a variety of service activities and non-profit causes such as Hands on Twin Cities, Children’s Hospital Association, Wilder Foundation, Friends of the Public Library, Bigelow Foundation and many more including school organizations, churches, children’s organizations and sports teams.

You cannot hope to build a better world without improving the individuals. To that end, each of us must work for our own improvement and, at the same time, share a general responsibility for all humanity, our particular duty being to aid those to whom we think we can be most useful.
-- Marie Curie

Our Results
JLSP contributed over 13,214 volunteer hours in the 2006-07 league year to our community at a value well over $238,000. Click here to download our 2006-07 Annual Report.

JLSP provides trained volunteers and program interaction to many organizations including (just this year) Women’s Advocates, Prevent Child Abuse MN, Children’s Home Society, YWCA and City of Saint Paul Recreation Centers.

In addition to our community outreach efforts, this year’s collaborations include working with the Saint Paul Mayor’s Office, Saint Paul Public Schools and the Saint Paul Public Libraries.
