Member Eligibility

Membership in the Junior League of Saint Paul is open to women ages 18 and older who live within a fifty mile radius of Saint Paul and who express an interest in voluntarism. Those who join spend a year as a New Member while learning about community needs, volunteering, and getting acquainted with the organization's projects. JLSP welcomes transfers from other Junior Leagues.

New Member Requirements

1. Pay new member dues of $90 which includes AJLI annual dues of $35.
2. Pay a new member course fee of $38.
3. Attend a minimum of 3 General Membership Meetings and Trainings (GMTs).
4. Attendance at a New Member orientation is mandatory.
5. Complete your New Member placement by serving on a New Member project committee.
6. You become eligible to vote after January 1st of the League year you’ve joined and have attended the orientation session.

Active Member Requirements

1. Pay Active member dues of $128.00 which includes AJLI annual dues of $35.
2. Development Requirements
      - Next-to-New Sale : 4 hours during set-up and 4 hours on sale day.
      - Donate a minimum of $100.00 in merchandise to the Next-to-New sale.
      - Work a 4 hour shift at the ASID Showcase home.
      - Purchase or sell two race entries to the 5K race. ($40 total)
3. Community Service Requirement
      - Work 2 hours at a Saint Paul Plays! event, and
      - 2 hours at any event under the Building Bonds initiative, Done in a Day or Advocacy.
4. General Membership Meeting and Training Requirement (GMT)
      - Attend a minimum of 4 GMTs
